Camp Chada Katavi is located in the center of this unspoilt and species-rich wilderness. Erected under the shady roof of imposing acacias and tamarind trees, one overlooks the vast plains of the national park from here as if from a small island. You can often see the game with the naked eye from the tent. In the ten years of its existence, the camp has developed from its first rustic beginnings to today into a high quality camp in which a successful mixture of comfortable luxury harmonises with deliberate originality.

After an exciting day on the safari - in an off-road vehicle or even on foot - the guest can enjoy the traditional “bucket shower” in the private bathroom tent, for which he had pre-ordered the warm water. Then he is surrounded by the romantic evening atmosphere of the lounge, which is only lit by candles and lanterns. A well-tempered wine is served with the multi-course candlelight dinner.
