Puma tracking in Patagonia

In the Patagonia Puma Reserve, the movements of the animal world are followed with 15 hidden cameras.
The main goal of the Awasi Patagonia Puma Foundation is to maintain a healthy and thriving ecosystem in and around the Torres del Paine National Park in southern Chile.

The guides inspect the hidden cameras that have been set up in the Puma Reserve with enthusiasm and anticipation.

The pictures show impressive activities that occur in a puma. A festival for many small and large creatures (warning: the king waits until the last). In addition to a thriving puma population, the amount of birds that can be seen in the reserve is unlikely to be large. There is no doubt that the effort in creating a sanctuary for Patagonia's wildlife has paid off and will continue to do so. Even hidden cameras are no guarantee of breathtaking recordings. But sometimes an absolute gem is captured.
