Lombok is to the east of Bali and it is not without good reason that we call it untouched Bali ”. With beautiful beaches, enchanting waterfalls, the tall, towering Mount Rinjani volcano, and relatively few visitors, Lombok is indeed the tropical island paradise that many people still mistake for Bali. Lombok and Bali are separated by the Lombok Strait. The Lombok Strait is also part of the biogeographical boundary between the fauna of Indo-Malaysia and the distinctly different fauna of Asia. The border is known as the Wallacean Line, after Alfred Russell Wallace who first noticed the difference between animals from Indo-Malaysia and those from the rest of Asia.
The best family trip we have ever done. And we have been traveling as a family for 20 years. The husky tour, the snowmobile race, the extraordinary lodges and camps - glamping in the snow - the incredible people we met and many other small and large details - have welded us together, challenged us, made us lastingly happy. Thank you Julia for the great coaching, the priceless inspiration and the perfect implementation.
