Argentina's lake district - the northwestern wedge of Argentina - is peppered with picture-perfect glacial lakes, surrounded by lush forests, rugged peaks and extinct volcanoes. The supposed attraction is the alpine flair of this "Argentine Switzerland" - a nickname that is partly expressed thanks to the Central European surroundings, the wooden chalet architecture and the breweries, dairies and chocolate shops of the region. The real attraction, however, is the pristine beauty of Goliath Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi, grandfather of all Argentine national parks. It offers endless trekking and other outdoor activities.
The best family trip we have ever done. And we have been traveling as a family for 20 years. The husky tour, the snowmobile race, the extraordinary lodges and camps - glamping in the snow - the incredible people we met and many other small and large details - have welded us together, challenged us, made us lastingly happy. Thank you Julia for the great coaching, the priceless inspiration and the perfect implementation.
